This exhibition toured in Asia, therefore the edit of the images, type treatment, and designs had to also convey something exclusive and appropriate to this new audience. We decided the ‘pop’ colours and lenticular image of Lady Gaga for the Special and Trade editions would be a perfect way to introduce the public to Mario’s work and mark his debut in this new continent. The exhibition opened in Beijing, toured to Shanghai with a view to move on to Hong Kong.
