mod.l is the result of a methodological and morphological research using cortex and copper sheets. The study higlighted the relationships that the materials created, focusing on their individual characteristics as a natural element and as a man-made material. Following the brief 'nature-process-artifact', the cortex was used as a mold for the copper sheet, which was pressed and shaped as to resemple the characteristics of the original material. Experimentations led to the identification of a series of contrasts in touch (rough-smooth; hot-cold; detailed-imprecise; solid-flexible); sight (matt-shiny) and morfphological differences (natural-artificial; alive-dead).
