OCB Menu design

Had the pleasure of illustrating a menu for Old Compton Brasserie and gaining second place in their artist competition. I wanted to highlight OCB as 'A place where eyes and mouths can feast'. Their Jammie Dodger dessert is where I took inspiration from. This consists of a buttery vanilla shortbread sandwich filled with piped white chocolate mousse, fresh raspberries topped off with drizzled raspberry coulis! My choice to illustrate the dessert was due to its attractiveness which makes for a arresting table centrepiece giving a pop of colour and flavour for your eyes and mouth. OCB is not only a venue for Londoners and visitors to eat at, it's a place to come and be immersed in the culture of Soho. It was important for me to echo that vibrancy, playfulness of Soho by romanticising the dessert and use of colours that I was able to achieve through Risograph.
