Smartify

Smartify is an app that aims to enhance the experience of viewing art through the augmented reality features of your mobile phone. Users can point their phone camera at artworks in participating institutions and uncover rich media content about the artwork, giving it a sense of context that wouldn't usually be available. In short—Smartify is the Shazam of the art world. The identity we developed uses a scanning/viewfinder graphic device to place emphasis on the experience-enhancing stories that can be learnt from artworks when you use the app.
