Commissioned Charity Brief for St. Michael's Hospice | Well-Being by Post | Voluntary Commission . This brief was a re-design of the well-being brochures 3 and 6. These brochures desperately needed a designer's touch and more relaxing aesthetics. The challenge of this brief was to re-design and create two well-being booklets for terminally ill patients. The aim is to communicate and assist the patients with their mental health and well-being, whilst dealing with the hardship of cancer throughout the pandemic. Since the theme of these booklets is well-being, keeping them clean and easy on the eye was a priority which we made work upon successful delivery. The covers help to support well-being-by-post-theme, whilst maintaining a relaxing aesthetic throughout. . Well-being layouts have never been my strong point, as I often take a more grungy and textured route within my design work. In addition, I still feel like I'm getting used to text layout and placement, and I feel this is something I need to work on. However, I've learnt a lot from this brief and feel even more experienced in layout design. Since leaving university, I feel like I've never stopped learning, which I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
