Strategy and writing for start-up YoungPlanet

We worked with an investor/entrepreneur on the launch of an exciting new circular economy/sharing platform called YoungPlanet - giving kids stuff you don't need a new home where it will be enjoyed. On this project, as part of the team I: - Helped develop the brand positioning and launch strategy, including vision/mission/values, defining audiences and consumer groups, consumer and market research, where-to-play, and developing tone of voice, look and feel; - Participated in workshops and events to co-create this positioning and the launch strategy; - Written and proofread copy for website, app and investor-facing materials - Supervised teams working on marketing and user engagement around alpha and beta tests of the app; and - Worked on commercial/legal/financial matters. Results: starting as an initial idea the entrepreneur was exploring, we have helped him build the proposition, recruit for and take it through alpha and beta tests. This helped YoungPlanet secure 2 rounds of funding. The Crowdcube funding round we worked to was successful, valuing YoungPlanet at £4.5 million. It has since launched across the UK and been featured in the press.
