What is Design? 100 Definitions

Published in 2022, 'What is Design? 100 Definitions' was conceived by design-industry pioneer John Sorrell. The book gathers together the thoughts of influential designers, artists and cultural innovators who all acknowledge the vital role that design plays in shaping our lives and addressing the challenges we face. It's a beautifully crafted object in itself, printed at Gwasg Gomer, Ceredigion, and hand-bound at Ludlow Bookbinders, Shropshire. The design is by John Sorrell and David Carroll, and our producer for the first run of limited editions was Hurtwood. Our 100 contributors are too many to name in person, but are all listed below.
