The 3D printer has been widely been recognized as a machine that can make “anything”, but in reality, it is still a production system that is immature, and although oo ob eoabr eoabr eosaobme portion of the production and manufacturing system we have today in the future, it will never run as fast and low-cost as the mass-manufacturing.
In order to fully leverage the features and originality of the 3D printing production, we focused on two original features that 3D printing process allows as; allowing the production of a very personal product; and enabling the user to design the structure within the object. Using these features of 3D printing, we developed a system to connote a RFID tag inside the object during the 3D printing process.
With this feature, the 3D printed object will be able to hold a very personal information, making the object even more personal.
