Friday Conversations

Every Friday from midday The Steps, the mini amphitheatre at the heart of Rawthmells coffeehouse, is filled with social change conversations.These conversations provide a weekly opportunity to share inspiring ideas for change, to celebrate a social change project making an impact, or to share learning and expertise on how to make change. Rawthmells is the RSA’s 21st century enlightenment coffeehouse. As Rawthmells Events and Programme Manager my role, starting before the coffeehouse opened, was to bring to life the mission for the space dreamt up by Fellows of the RSA; to be a natural home for anyone interested in social change. Friday Conversations was one of the event series that I devised to give Fellows a platform to share their ideas, projects and learnings, and to connect and collaborate with others.
