Brief: For Christmas 2016 Pottermore launched new gifting functionality in their online store, enabling users to send digitally wrapped audiobook and ebook gifts which land in their giftee's inbox on their selected day. The approach aims to maintain the anticipation and surprise of unwrapping a physical gift using digital wrapping paper the user must remove. (More details in separate project) Idea: To support the launch we worked with the Hadley Brothers to create a stop motion film to promote and educate users how gifting works, which was shared across the Pottermore social channels and website. My role: Art direction from concept storyboard to completion. I also used my craft skills to create some of the props.
