I created a classic newsstand to promote the launch of Allbirds’ third store opening in London’s most iconic street- King’s Road. To announce the opening of the sustainable footwear brand store, bespoke Allbirds newspaper and beautiful bouquets of eucalyptus were handed out to locals over a sunny spring weekend!

The newsstand was designed to be eye-catching and offers 180 interaction points. Inside I created a bespoke shoeboxes wall backdrop while on the outside, hung printed canvas banners while another side is a display of some of the shoes available in-store across the road. The display is a grid wall with a selection of the collection among the newspaper and buckets of bunches of eucalyptus- the picture-perfect frame for an Instagram moment. Inspired by the shoes made from eucalyptus, charismatic brand ambassadors gave out bunches of eucalyptus, which were wrapped in branded paper and tied with Allbirds shoelaces- another brand retention through a pair of free shoelaces.
The event aimed to introduce the public to the brand and engage with their new neighbours! I designed the event to reflect the theme and incorporate the products through 250 paper clouds hung in the yoga room, creating the perfect blend of the sky outside. For the yoga session, custom pink yoga mats, water bottles and sweat towels were styled and gifted to the guests afterwards.
