Role: Creative Responsibilities: Assisted ideation, concepting, creative strategy, copywriting and building pitch decks. Grew relationships with the Spotify events team, brought lived community and cultural insights as a long time Brooklynite, and assisted in styling and curating the store. Spotify wanted to participate in the “Get Ready With Me” trend by rebranding it to “Get Ready With Music.” They created a playful survey in app where users selected their outfit and mood to then be served the perfect playlist to go with it. Our job was launching this feature with an immersive shopping experience that allowed shoppers to shop with sound. We collaborated with a neighborhood favorite Other People’s clothes. We completely building out and re-styling the store overnight, dividing it into moods and textures like “shiny,” “buzzy” and “cozy.” Above each of these sections had a directional speaker above playing a curated playlist. We kicked off the store with a influencer invite event where it-girls had the opportunity to be styled by the one and only Tan France. The store was open for four days, each day featured a local DJ.
