The brief was to create a mobile wine bar that could 'pop up'at outdoor events and festivals.
We crafted the Container Bar from a shipping container, using steel and wood, painted in the vibrant colours of La Boca. Then we filled it with original antiques and works from top Argentine artists. Since its debut in 2015, my company, TOMO Events has managed all its activations.
The Container has appeared at numerous UK food, wine and music festivals: Latitude, Kendal Calling, Jamie Oliver’s Big Feastival, Blue Dot, London Wine Week and Foodies Festival.
With an integrated sound system, a premium wine list, occasional partnerships with restaurants (Gaucho Grill & Honest Burger) and an experienced team of charismatic staff, it is fast becoming a festival destination in its own right.
During our 2019 summer festival tour, over 3,000 bottles of wine were sold from The Container across three weekends!
