UGC Competition For Monsters University

To support the release of Monsters University in cinemas, I pitched a concept for a UGC competition and went on to produce and launch it in the UK. The project involved working closely with a designer/developer colleague to create the competiton flow, including the upload of images, moderation, gallery feature and ability for entrants to download their customised Monsters student ID card. The idea was sold to a commercial partner who we worked with to provide prizes for the lucky winner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identified the user workflow
- Enagaged legal and brand colleagues to set T&Cs, competiton rules and use of brand assets
- Engaged with commercial team to sell the idea to a partner and responding to their brief
- Wrote all copy and sourced assets
- Managed approval process with Studios, Brand and Technology teams
- Planned campaign to promote the competition across Disney touchpoints including TV spots
- Monitored uploads and swiftly reacted to any downturns to maximise competition entries
