VICE X SNAPCHAT SAVE YOURSELVES PROJECT
The brief was to develop a creative concept using AR on Snapchat where Vice could complement its Climate Change editorial and have a real impact on the issue.
LIMITED SPECIES
Snapchat is known by their animals face filters, but what if we raise awareness creating limited and short-living animal filters with species endangered or already extinct? To portray how serious the issue is. What we find funny and cute could become something concerning and mortifying to push youth to take action.
SLIM PROTEST
Climate change demonstrations leave a massive amount of trash behind, we thought of redefining the traditional way of protesting by using Snapchat most valuable asset: AR.
SLIM PROTEST is a paperless/zero waste/eco-friendly protest. Banners will only be visible in the digital world. Participants can customize their messages on the platform and submit them. Even those who can't attend can be part of it. The placards will display on smart OOH within the protest route and in the Snapchat Discover Channel.
We see this going way beyond climate change demonstrations, we would love any protest and cause to retrieve this model.
