Are you working on, or aware of resources to help the people of Ukraine? Please add them here so we can collectively support them.

It’s been heartbreaking watching events unfold in Ukraine. We can all feel a little helpless at times, so we wanted to put together a list of ways we can stand together to support the people of Ukraine.

This is not an exhaustive list, so if you’re working on projects or aware of any resources, campaigns or petitions to help support the Ukraine community, please share them below.

  • What is happening in Ukraine is terrible. War destroys physically and morally. Many Ukrainians faced with psychological problems. I'm glad I came here https://nhukr.org/hope-for-adults/ and learned how to help these poor people. We must give them support and help, they deserve it.
  • Bear Us in Mind have created a psychological toolkit for adults and professionals supporting Ukrainian refugee children (Key Stages 2-3). The toolkit includes physical resources for use by young people, and a library of videos for practitioners to support effective delivery. In person training also available. https://www.bearusinmind.org.uk/

  • That host a refugee project by AirBnB is wonderful, thanks for sharing @Antonella Gasco :-)

@Isabel Sierra y Gómez de León also shared a brilliant project called Art x Peace, where creatives & artists can donate prints to help raise funds for Ukraine.

    Keep them coming everyone.
  • Great idea this thread, @Pip Jamieson ! Lots of useful info!

AirBnB launched this to help refugees - you can host a refugee:
    https://www.airbnb.org/help-ukraine?locale=en-GB

Another type of help I have read about are people booking AirBnB stays in Ukraine, that obviously won't be used, but so that the owners of those AirBnB will get some sort of income in this difficult times. However, I have also read that there may be scams among those who post places to stay in Ukraine... so make sure it's a legit host before you book it!

  • @Chris McGuire Are you taking pet food with you as many fled with their animals. There are also charity’s going into the Ukraine and rescuing abandoned animals who are also victims of the war. There are rescue centres in the Ukraine were staff and animals are going hungry because of Putin. Before the smart arses say anything I have donated to appeal for the refugees. If you have pets would you leave them behind? If you had to would you seek comfort knowing that there would be brave people who care enough to go and rescue them on your behalf.
  • Hello @Pip Jamieson thanks so much for organising this. I have launched a new screenprint for which all proceeds will be donated to Unicef Ukraine. Available here: https://bit.ly/3Cozl7N

It's a limited, signed edition of 100, hand pulled onto beautiful yellow paper. Any help in spreading the word would be wonderful.

  • I’m selling vinyl stickers by @Mike McCoole and poetry by myself on my nonprofit retail site Not Just Small Change in aid of the Help Ukraine Emergency Appeal.

Can be applied to any surface including laptops, walls, boxes, etc.
All proceeds go to the Help Ukraine Emergency Appeal, which is a collaboration between Ukrainian and British charities to provide those affected by the Russian invasion with food, medicine, health supplies, shelter, etc. as well as CRISIS COUNSELLING.
