I'm putting together a reading list for 2024. What was the one book that changed your life?

- The Mezzanine by Nicholson Baker. It's the journey through a mans mind during a 1hr lunch break. The book draws parallels to the small things designers obsess about "What does the radius of this corner actually mean?"
- The Monk who sold his Ferrari by Robin Sharma. An amazing read for anyone on a journey of self discovery and creative abilities.
- The Stranger, by Albert Camus.
- Notes on a Nervous Planet by Matt Haig. It gave me a new perspective on our fast digital world and how it is ok to be anxious and nervous as we all do and solutions to lessen that.Keep Going by Austin Kleon. Austin is a great author as his writing is just simply encouraging and empowering for creatives of any kind. Super easy read too!I'm definitely following this list :) This year, I'm looking to read 30 books as I turned 30 end of last year
- A Treatise on White Magic - Alice A. Bailey
- Cosmos by Carl Sagan!
- Dare to Lead by Brene Brown - a complete game changer that I refer to constantly
- The Win Without Pitching Manifesto by Blair Enns, must read for any creative entrepreneur, but also extremely valuable information to shape a young creative's mindset and approach to position themselves as the expert.
- Soar! by Bishop TD Jakes
- Fatty Liver: You Can Reverse It (Coping With Illness)

- Hi Pip - Be More Pirate by Sam Conniff.
- The Winning Without Pitching Manifesto by Blair Enns. Pure gold!
- The Culture Map by Erin Meyer was really eye opening. She covers in detail about the ways different cultures communicate, as well as how something innocent can be wildly misinterpreted in a different setting. It proved to be extra helpful when working across an international team.
- Invisible Man by Ralph EllisonJonathan Livingstone Seagull by Richard Bach
- The Shadow of the Wind, by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.
- My favourite book, albeit not really life changing is 80 Days Around the World by Jules Verne. But my childhood self was obsessed with the future evolutions in the speculative nature book 'After Man - A Zoology of the Future' by Dougal Dixon. I've spent hours drawing these animals.
- The Friends of Eddy Coyle
- The Beauty Myth, Naomi Wolf
- "Everybody Lies" by Seth Stephens-Davidowitz is a super insightful book about big data, how we use the internet, and what it reveals about our "true selves". Very relevant to our current zeitgeist!

- Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind - The way we interact, societies and religions are built and the rules of economics and story telling all covered. The world makes sense. Failing that Don Winslow - The Dawn Patrol (happy place read)
- Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts - an awesome and inspirational read!
- The Master and Margarita - Mikhail BulgakovMagical, surreal, beautiful, inspiring.
