- Start Now, Perfect Later by Rob Moore.Great for cutting through the procrastination of working/not-working.It probably says don't reply to questions like this one... so maybe it hasn't changed my life that much!
- Virginia Woolf - A room of one's own
- The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand 1943.... a quote from the book: "To sell your soul is the easiest thing in the world. That's what everybody does every hour of his life. If I asked you to keep your soul - would you understand why that's much harder? "
- My book - Do The Thing, Have The Power. Writing it helped my get back my confidence and self esteem. Reading it has helped others do the same.
- Man's search for meaning by Victor Frankl
- Be Here Now by Ram Dass
- 1984
- Il Gattopardo, by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa
- Noughts & Crosses
- Daring Greatly - Brene Brown
- The Sun Also Rises by Hemingway. If you haven't already read it, it is one of the most beautiful books you'll ever read.
- Gosh. So many! Practise-wise Terry Jones' 'Instant Design. A Manual of Graphic Techniques' has been hugely influential. For the sheer joy of reading, Barry Gifford's Sailor & Lula series or Charles Beaumont's Shadow Play anthology.
- 'Why We Sleep' by Matthew Walker
- Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance
- The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
- Children of Blood and Bone - Toni Adeyemi
- Bluets – Maggie Nelson
- The subtle art of not giving a f*ck by Mark Manson
- The Road - Cormac McCarthy
