One of the most ambitious projects in BMX, I worked with a team to produced a unique pop-up BMX skatepark in a soon-to-be demolished swimming pool in Dagenham, London. The park saw a huge opening competition which set off a month long set of activations which included: daily open sessions, private core community and retail sessions, local community activities and PE school lessons.
I was the lead designer for this event, which entailed me helping to design the layout of the main skatepark, mini ramps, entrance area, retail space and brand activations through-out the building.
It was my role to come up with the branding concept and develop it to work on various formats, such as: animated stingers, digital banners, retail posters, product give-aways, photography gallery, directional signage and also creating a custom colour for the park “Shaun Blue”.
