I'm putting together a reading list for 2024. What was the one book that changed your life?

- All the Pretty Horses by Cormac McCarthy
- A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara.
- Check out Stuffication by James Wallman
- The Multi-Hyphen Method by Emma Gannon.
- Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance has given me a fresh perspective on problem solving and approaches to it. I couldn't recommend it more - even though it's tedious at times... I feel it's part of the experience.https://www.amazon.co.uk/Zen-Art-Motorcycle-Maintenance-Inquiry/dp/0099786400
- The Alchemist by Paula Coelho
- About Looking by John Berger
- How to be Famous by Caitlin Moran!
- No More Mr. Nice Guy - Book by Robert A. GloverMindset: Changing the Way You Think to Fulfil Your Potential - Book by Carol Dweck
- Jack Kerouac has written amazing books. If it was one book I had to choose, it'd be 'Vanity of Duluoz', not 'On the Road', though I loved this novel too. The rebellious spirit is alive in well in this novel, however reading it gifts the reader a portion of wisdom. Rare and wonderful this literature is an artefact from the past. Pip, very good question and if you happen to know such works made in our 21st Century, I'd love to know
- Radical Candor - Kim Scott
- Steve Stoute - The Tanning of America
- 'Non-violent communication' by Marshall Rosenberg
- One book that changed my life? Come one hat is mean ;)If I have to pick only one: Little Prince
- NO LOGO _ Naomi Klein
- The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck - Mark Manson
- Whatever you think, think the opposite / Paul Arden
- Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi.
- A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara is one of the most beautiful, soul-destroying, wonderful, heartbreaking books. A truly inspiring look on male friendship, and friendship overall, dealing with hard-hitting issues, and a love letter to New York. I think I need to read it again for the millionth time now...
- Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari - incredibly addictive dive into the human psyche and history
- Ego is the Enemy, by Ryan Holiday has had a big effect on the way that I view a lot my professional and personal life .
- The year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes
- Shop Class as Soulcraft: An Inquiry Into the Value of WorkMatthew B. Crawford.
- The Bible, definitely an atheist after reading some of it.
